Supreme Court REINSTATES judicial officer who resigned in July 2014 and sought reinstatement on the ground that she was forced to resign following alleged sexual harassment by a HC judge in Madhya Pradesh.

SC: Writ petition is allowed. The resignation cannot be construed to be voluntary. Order accepting resignation is quashed and set aside. The petitioner to be reinstated. No backwages

SC: But the petitioner will be entitled to all consequential benefits after her retirement.

Jaising: I thank Mr Mehta for not taking a very adversarial stand
