In a petition seeking the dissolution of admissions of Students who unlawfully reserved seats in Medical and Dental College, MP HC directed a probe to trace the extent of such cases.

The petition claimed that many students belonging to other States intentionally wrongfully secured their seats in various Government colleges of MBBS and BDS in Madhya Pradesh by furnishing wrong information of their domicile.

The Court issued a notice to the MP Government through Principle secretary health, family welfare and medical education, the director medical education and 14 others.

The petitioner Tarishi Verma claimed to be wrongfully prevented from reserving a seat in the medical course, blaming the entire education system for not taking serious measures in the prevention of deceitful admissions.

The applicant also requested to neutralize previously reserved admissions based on wrong information provided by students of other States and prepare a new merit list.

Such candidates at the time of filing application of NEET is not mentioned they are domicile of Madhya Pradesh but at the time of counseling they stated domicile of MP, the petitioner-counsel Greehsm Jain said.
