Former promoters of Ranbaxy move SC challenging Rs 3,500 crore arbitartion award

New Delhi :Former Ranbaxy promoters  Malvinder Singh and Shivinder Singh have filed a writ petition in Supreme Court against Rs 3500 cr Daiichi arbitration enforcement that has recently been confirmed by the  Delhi High Court.The case will come up for hearing on February 15. The Delhi High Court had approved the order of Singaporean Tribunal tribunal that had said the two brothers needed to pay the money for concealing information related to wrongdoing at Ranbaxy, while selling it to Daiichi.The acquisition of Ranbaxy by Daiichi was made in 2008 for $4.6 billion .
