New Delhi: Soon after Delhi High Court upheld bail to Sajjan Kumar in case related to killing of three Sikhs of Janakpuri and Vikaspuri in Delhi, the  Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa said  that the Committee will challenge the decision of the HC in Supreme Court. The HC had dismissed plea by Special Investigation Team (SIT) to cancel the anticipatory bail of Sajjan Kumar given on December 21,2016, on the grounds that he is available for investigation.

The court said available records indicate that pursuant of the orders (of the trial court), Sajjan Kumar has made himself available for investigation and it has been submitted on his behalf that he shall continue to do, the court said.

It also said that the SIT was not able to make out any ground for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to Kumar.

The high court had on December 12 reserved its order on the SIT plea seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail. The SIT had contended that the trial court order granting anticipatory bail to Kumar was perverse and overwhelming circumstances were ignored.SIT is also likely to appeal the ruling in SC.
