The Secretary General of Supreme Court has put out a notice on its website asking the accredited Bar Associations of all the High Courts to intervene with suggestions in the matter of designation of Senior Advocates.

The request states.

In its order dated May 2, 2017 the Court, had directed the Secretary General to put out this notice, inviting Bar Associations of all High Courts to get involved in the matter. The notice reads,

“You are, hereby, informed that you may intervene with your suggestions, if any, in the matter of designation of Senior Advocate(s) under Section 16(2) of the Advocates Act, 1961, in terms of the order dated 02.05.2017..
